GameTech Azerbaijan company is looking for big foreign ICT companies, as well as large-scale game studios, whose leaders, on the company’s initiative, join its events, Fidan Rustamli, founder of Game Tech Azerbaijan, told Trend on March 31.
“Such work allows us to expand international cooperation in the development and formation of the gaming industry in Azerbaijan,” the founder added.
Rustamli added that currently one of the Azerbaijani game studios has begun cooperation with a Turkish sound and music company.
"Moreover, we render comprehensive assistance to our game developers and startups in the field of international cooperation and we are also open to partnership," Rustamli added. “The company will start a series of online "From Zero to Game" events from April, which will last one month.”
"Speakers from various foreign game studios will share their development experience, which will help Azerbaijan's novice developers start the business in the game industry," Rustamli said.
The founder stressed that GameTech Azerbaijan events in the gaming field are held with the participation of heads and experts from successful studios, both in the format of practical classes and in the format of seminars.
"Through our activity, the population of the country, as well as professional developers, are discovering something new in the field of programming, digital marketing, taxation, sound and music, e-sports, etc.," Rustamli added.
“The online events have many positive aspects, the main of which is free gathering on various platforms without any restrictions and exchange of experience, which has a positive effect on the implementation of the further projects,” he said.
To date, GameTech Azerbaijan has implemented a total of 15 different events at the regional and local levels, where speakers were participants from such countries as Azerbaijan, Turkey, the US and Europe.
GameTech Azerbaijan held its first event within the "Innovation Week 2020" in December last year, organized by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies.
