“Our products protect endpoint workstations and servers, network infrastructure,” he said.

“We are confident that the products that we plan to start creating in Azerbaijan will have export potential, since our systems are in demand for export. The entire region adjacent to Azerbaijan is in our interests for further export of joint products, and in particular, it is Saudi Arabia, the UAE, India, Pakistan, as well as the expansion of sales in Southeast Asia,” said Kravchuk.

In addition, this week, the McAffee company stated that the deal on the acquisition of the McAfee division for the protection of corporate business was successfully completed.

The Symphony Technology Group (STG), the US private equity firm, announced that the consortium it leads has closed the deal to acquire the McAfee division. STG paid out $4 billion to McAfee, the company said.

The new McAfee Enterprise is at the forefront of customer satisfaction with a leading portfolio of global solutions.

Moreover, this week, the Azerbaijani PASHA Bank OJSC said that 98 percent of the bank's customers from the sphere of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) are carried out through digital channels.

“Despite the fact that the bank receives letters and appeals from other organizations on paper, the internal circulation of such documents is carried out through an electronic system. For customers, the volume of paper documents they had to deal with was reduced to a minimum. Undoubtedly, one of the important projects is the implementation of a microservice architecture (which many people mistakenly associate with a simple reduction in the size of the service), the use of cloud providers, which imply deep automation of the process of building, deploying and monitoring applications,” the bank added.

In addition, it became known that the Azerbaijani government has confirmed the Signify project to create ‘smart’ lighting in the city of Baku. It was earlier decided to implement a pilot project for 86 light points. Now it has been decided to install such a system throughout the capital of Azerbaijan. The company is now actively working on the modernization of urban lighting.

To ensure the security of products, Signify pays special attention to the cybersecurity of products, systems and services. All data protection processes are based on industry standards, governance principles and rules. They are aligned with global standards such as ISO/IEC 2700x - Information Security Management Systems and the ISA/IEC 62443 set of standards for product development.
