Today on 9 July opening of the unified hub established for the dial-up Internet users will take place in Baku based on the ATE 493-498. Officials from the Production Union
Baku Telefon Communications (Baki Telefon Rabitasi), Ministry of Communications (MCIT), telecommunication branch stations and other are planned to take part in the hub commissioning ceremony, the MCIT told Trend.
The Internet hub, covering all subscribers of Baku city, has been set up based on the Baki Telefon Rabitasi PU and will be given to the disposal of the Khatai telecommunication station.
The necessity to set up the center emerged due to the heavy load in telephone lines during the usage of the sound telephone channels for the Internet web access. After the hub introduction for the Internet users, special channels will be allotted for the web access, which will be connected to the Internet providers via the ATE.
