Azerbaijan participates in the annual international exhibition of IT technologies CРµBIT-2006, started in Hanover on 9 March. Azerbaijan is represented at the exhibition by Sinam, Aztelekom, AtaTexnologiya, Ultra and Azersat, the Communications and Information Technologies Ministry told Trend.
Attending the event from the Communications Ministry are Iltimas Mammadov, the Deputy Minister, and Elchin Aliyev, the adviser to the Minister on WSIS issues (World Summit on the Information Society), also head of Sinam.
50% of the funds on Azerbaijans participation in the event is granted by the Communications Ministry. CРµBIT-2006 will complete its work on 15 March.
