The physical entities living in Russian are able to carry out postal money transfer between Azerbaijan and Russia. Earlier only legal entities could use this system at implementation of socially considerable operations such as transfer of alimony, compensation, allowances, the Communications and Information Technologies Ministry told Trend.
The agreement signed between the sides came into force in December 2005.
The partner of the Federal State Unitary enterprise Pochta Rossii in Azerbaijan is Azerpocht State Enterprise.
The Ministry noted that the amount of transfer by physical entities was low (around 10%), taking into consideration the great number of the Azerbaijanis living in Russia.
The reason for it may be our compatriots unawareness of the new opportunity, the Ministry stressed.
At present postal transfer from Russia to Azerbaijan may be carried out both by legal and physical entities.
