Azerbaijan is ready to assist Tajikistan in the sphere of postal relations. It is intended to apply bilateral postal transfers with the system MTF/STEFI with several countries of Middle Asia, especially with Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kirghizia, Trend reports with reference to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan. However, due to the lack of the technical supply for applying the system, the postal administration of Tajikistan appealed to Azerbaijan for support.
According to information provided by the same ministry, the ministry has prepared several proposals and the Azerbaijani specialists are expected to pay a visit to Tajikistan.
Technically Azerbaijan is ready to start realizing the service of STEFI, the same source told.
Today, Azerbaijan realizes money transfers with the РњРўF/STEFI system with Russia, Moldavia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and United Arabic Emirates. In the future, it is planned to carry out such service with France, Japan, Estonia and other countries.
