Azerbaijan and Russia are elaborating a draft-agreement on cooperation between the Russian IT and Telecommunication Ministry and Azerbaijan Telecommunication and IT Ministry
The agreement stipulates cooperation in the spheres of IT, postal service, and telecommunication between the two countries. Last time, discussions on this issue were held during the anniversary events of the regional Commonwealth in the Filed of Telecommunication in Moscow in December, 2006. An Azerbaijan delegation participated at the event as well. During the negotiations, an oral agreement on items of the forthcoming agreement was reached, said the source in the Ministry. Presently, the place and the time when the agreement is to be signed are under determination .
