New Chief of State Radio Frequencies Department Appointed

The new Chief of the State Department for Radio Frequencies has been appointed. Trend reports that according to the order issued by Ali Abbasov - Azerbaijan Telecommunications and IT Minister, Aflatun Mamadov was appointed to this post. The previous Head of the Department, Mammad Eyvazov was dismissed from the office due to transfer to another post.

Aflatun Mammadov graduated from the Ildirim Polytechnic University. His specialty grade is Electrotechnics. Since 1986, he started his labour activity as an engineer in a laboratory in one of the enterprises of the Ministry. In 1995, he obtained his Master's Degree on the specialty grade of Industrial Engineering in the Marmara University of Turkey. He has taken different top offices in some IT companies.

Starting from 1999 and on, he is taking the top posts in the Telecommunication Ministry of the Country: Advisor Minister for Technical Issues, Chief of Telecommunication Department of the Ministry.

He took the post of the Chief of the Department of Coordination of the Activity of the State Agencies of the Telecommunication Ministry till his new appointment to the post of the Head of the State Department for Radio Frequencies. He has fluent English and Russian communication skills. He is married, has two children.
