In 2007 the Azerbaijan Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies forecasts investments in the amount of 29mln manats, Trend reports. In 2006 forecasted amount of investments for the Communications Ministry made up 25mln manats. Incomes in this period were determined in the amount of 162mln manats, while it comprised only 152mln manats in 2006.
Last year, 42mln manats were invested to the enterprises of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies. Incomes comprised 170.8mln manats with an increase of 9.3%.
In 2006 total investments in the telecommunications sector reached 211.6mln manats, or 3.5% of total investments directed into the country economy.
