Azerbaijan , Baku / Trend, corr. S. Babayeva/ The returns of the Azerbaijan Telecommunication and Information Technologies Ministry in January, 2007 reached AZN 10,816,500 versus the expectations at AZN 10,747, a source in the Ministry told Trend.
The Ministry gained AZN 4,830 from the payment of the population versus the expectations at AZN 4,721. As compared with the corresponding period of 2006, these figures increased by 11.6 % and 4%. According to the State Statistics Committee in the reporting services, telecommunication services were rendered to the sum of AZN 40.1 mln that was 17.8% more against January, 2006. 76% out of the gained revenue fell at telecommunication services to the population. The revenue gained from mobile communication increased by 10.4% versus the corresponding figures of January, 2006.
