Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend S.Babayeva / The Minister of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan, Ali Abbasov, is on a visit to Nakchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan to attend a two-day international symposium 'Electronic Nakchivan 3 - information society: reality and prospects' which began on the 22nd of June in Nakchivan State University.
Ali Abbasov will create a report on the prospects of development of information and communication technologies - access to the information society.
The event is aimed at the development of information and communication technologies in Nakchivan Autonomous Republic.
The conference will be attended by the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of Nakchivan Autonomous Republic, Vasib Talibov , Azerbaijan's Deputy Education Minister, Elmar Gasimov , President of National Academy of Sciences, Mahmud Kerimov , Director of IT Institute, Rasim Aliguliyev , NATO Advisor for South Caucasus and the United Nations Development Program, doctor Yatsek Gajevski , Rector of Baku State University, Abel Maharramov .
More than twenty reports will be made during the conference.
Through video conference, the event will also be attended by Novosibirsk State University, IT University of Sweden and other institutions.
