Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / Azerbaijan's mobile phone operator AZERFON LLC (Nar Mobile TM) acted as main sponsor of the 5th Black Sea Youth Congress, held in Azerbaijan, the company reports. The event ended on 3 July.
The event organizers are the Ministry of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan Republic, The Ministry of Education, United Nations office in Azerbaijan, the representative of AIESEC - a student organization in Azerbaijan and Azerfon LLC.
The main objective of Azerfon LLC in sponsoring the 5th Black Sea Youth Congress, is to get proactive and talented youth together, to get them familiar with business practices of leading companies, create conditions for successful careers and to become responsible business leaders of the future.
The general director of Azerfon LLC John Armley, participating in the opening event once more congratulated the organizers noted: "Being a part of the Azerbaijani economy, which is rapidly developing now, Azerfon LLC is working hard for the country's prosperity, and wishes to support young people in career development and creating employment opportunities which will further contribute to the ongoing and future development of the country."
During the congress, students and young people were educated on modern business leadership methods and introduced to the role of business in corporate social responsibility.
AZERFON LLC, (Nar Mobile?) was awarded with a license by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan Republic for provision of mobile services throughout the territory of Azerbaijan. AZERFON LLC launched its commercial activities on 21 March 2007 using its Nar Mobile brand name.
