The online hotel booking service booking.com returns to the Turkish market, the Turkish media reported Jan. 4.
Reportedly, the management of the online booking service agreed with the decision of the Turkish court to pay a fine.
According to the Turkish media outlets, after paying a fine, booking.com can fully operate in Turkey.
Back in March 2017, the online booking service was blocked by the Istanbul court, following a claim submitted by the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TURSAB).
Lawyers representing TURSAB argue that the service violates the law on competition in the hotel market of the country.
