KAMAZ reveals data on fire trucks delivery to Turkmenistan

BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 17

KAMAZ company of Russia’s Tatarstan shall deliver 74 more fire trucks to Turkmenistan for departments of the State Fire Safety Service of Turkmenistan, regional representative of KAMAZ Marat Garifullin told Trend.

Meanwhile, KAMAZ has already delivered 47 fire trucks to Turkmenistan, noted Garifullin.

As part of the implementation of the cooperation agreement signed between KAMAZ and Turkmenautoulaglary State Agency of the Ministry of Industry and Communications of Turkmenistan, the Russian company plans to supply dump trucks, flatbed cars, tankers as well as construction and special equipment for Turkmenistan.

He also announced the delivery of road trains within KAMAZ-5490 truck tractors with NEFAZ-93341 semi-trailers.

Garifullin also noted the impact of coronavirus on the company's cooperation with Turkmenistan.

"The global situation related to the spread of COVID-19 has certainly affected the current bilateral work. Despite this, the implementation of plans has not been stopped."

Earlier, KAMAZ and Turkmenautoulaglary State Agency of the Ministry of Industry and Communications of Turkmenistan signed an agreement for the supply of 1,982 vehicles in 2019-2021.

According to the company, KAMAZ will deliver 463 vehicles to Turkmenistan in 2021.

Meanwhile, the company is going to open new modern service centers in four regions of Turkmenistan.

“Taking into account the accomplished work and the goals set for development, we can highly praise the bilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and KAMAZ. We highly appreciate the trust placed in us and express gratitude for the opportunity to supply vehicles for the sectors of the national economy of Turkmenistan,” the representative stressed.
