BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 26. The volume of cargo loaded and unloaded in the Genaveh port of the Bushehr Province (southern Iran) decreased by 23.8 percent in the 7th month of the current Iranian year (September 23 through October 22, 2022), compared to the same month last Iranian year, Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

In total, 6,160 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in the port over the 7th month. Some 2,460 tons of cargo were loaded and 3,700 tons were unloaded.

Also, 593 tons of cargo were imported through the Genaveh port during the reporting month.

Within the 7th month, 2,460 tons of cargo were loaded and 1,710 tons were unloaded in the port for cabotage.

In addition, 1,400 tons of cargo were unloaded in the port for transshipment over the 7th month.

Thus, 4,760 tons of small and assorted products and about 1,400 tons of container products were loaded and unloaded in the Genaveh port within the 7th month of the current Iranian year.

In general, about 11.6 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the 7th month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 5.66 million tons were loaded and 5.94 million tons were unloaded. This is a decrease of 6 percent compared to the same month last Iranian year.
