President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has signed the Law "On ratification of the Agreement on preferential terms of delivery of special equipment and special means for provision of law enforcement bodies and special services of the countries-members of the Collective Security Treaty Organization."

Information was reported by Kazinform with the reference to the Presidential press-service.

CSTO members are Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Belarus and Armenia.

The agreement calls for interaction between the CSTO member states in organizing the supplies of special equipment for law enforcement agencies on preferential terms, Novosti-Kazakhstan writes. By special equipment means any kind of protective equipment including body armour, helmet, weapons etc.

The Agreement was signed in Dushanbe in October 2007.
