Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev's visit to Belarus is scheduled for May 2012, Belarusian Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Kazakhstan Yergali Bulegenov said at the meeting with chairman of the Belarusian House of Representatives of the National Assembly Vladimir Andreichenko on Wednesday, BelTA reported.
"The visit will take place in mid-May. We will agree on the date today or tomorrow," the Ambassador said.
Bulegenov said that Nazarbayev's visit will become an additional impetus for the development of bilateral cooperation.
Belarus is a strategic partner of Kazakhstan, Bulegenov said. The bilateral relations are developing dynamically. The two countries have signed 76 agreements and contracts.
"I think that this is not the limit," Bulegenov said.
