The member-countries of the Common Economic Space (Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus) are going to invite the European Union to create a common transit space from Lisbon to Vladivostok, Belta reported with the reference to Customs Cooperation Minister of the Eurasian Economic Commission Vladimir Goshin.
"Eurasian Economic Commission has started working on three very ambitious projects. One of the ideas we are still hatching is inviting the European Union to create a common transit space from Lisbon to Vladivostok. All the objective conditions for such idea have matured. And I hope we will not have to draw up any documents while delivering goods from Europe to our country and from our country to Europe. I hope the goods will go with single transit document," Goshin said.
The idea is concerning road and rail transport, he said.
