Kyrgyzstan's National Bank plans to put up for sale recently created Zalkar Bank, acting head of the National Bank Baktygul Zheenbayeva said at the session of Ata Meken faction today, 24.kg reported.
According to her, the Bank was created after the scandal with AsiaUniversalBank (AUB). "All good assets of AUB, property and equipment were transferred to the new bank. Its promoter is the Agency for Reorganization and Restructuring of Banks under the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan. Meanwhile Maksat Ishembayev is appointed to the post of the board president."
Zheenbayeva denied remarks of some deputies that AUB's property was sold.
