OSCE Chairman Audronius Ažubalis held talks in Turkmenistan
Today the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, held talks with the Chairman of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Audronius Ažubalis, arrived in Ashgabat, told Trend in the Turkmen embassy in Azerbaijan with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
As noted during the talks, held in a businesslike and constructive atmosphere, Turkmenistan is an active participant and embarked on a broad positive dialogue in the international arena in the name of universal prosperity, security and progress. One of the fundamental criteria for foreign policy doctrine of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov is cooperation with large international organizations and structures, including the OSCE, which has accumulated valuable experience of interaction.
A high-ranking official noted the particular importance of Turkmenistan's policy of diversification of export energy routes, stressing the desire of the OSCE to continue and to enhance dialogue and co-establish productive contacts on energy issues.
At the conclusion of the meeting the parties stressed the importance of intensifying the activities of the OSCE in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres.
