The Law on Rationalization Activities has entered into force in Turkmenistan, Trend reports referring to the promulgated document.
The law is aimed at creating organizational, legal and economic conditions for the activities of authors of inventions, and stimulating scientific and technical creativity.
The main directions of state policy in this field are the protection of the rights of authors, their incentivisation via provision of monetary rewards, promoting the introduction of the latest technologies and standards in the production, and the development of international cooperation.
The rationalization activity is financed by enterprises, as well as other sources not prohibited by the legislation of Turkmenistan, as stated in the document.
These funds should be directed to experimental work, the manufacture and testing of models and samples for rationalization proposals, the organization of exhibitions, competitions and other events, as well as the payment of rewards.
