BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 31. Turkey has imported a total of 62,434 tons of crude oil in January 2022 from Turkmenistan, which accounted for 1.74 percent of the total of Turkey’s crude oil imports for the month, Trend reports citing Turkey’s Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK).
Thus, Turkey’s import of Turkmen crude oil increased by almost 3 times compared to December 2021 (22,000 tons). In January 2021, export was not carried out.
Turkey’s import of crude oil from Turkmenistan from January through December 2021 amounted to 662,694 tons.
