BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 13. Production of oil and other liquid hydrocarbons in Turkmenistan in 2022 will average 0.25 million barrels per day, Trend reports with reference to the October Short-Term Energy Outlook (STEO) of the US Energy Information Administration (EIA).
According to the EIA, in the first quarter of 2022, oil production in Turkmenistan amounted to 0.26 million barrels per day, in the second - 0.24 million, and in the third quarter - 0.26 million barrels per day.
The EIA predicts that in the fourth quarter of 2022, the country will also produce 0.26 million barrels of oil per day.
Furthermore, the EIA also noted that Turkmenistan’s oil extraction in 1Q2021, 2Q2021, 3Q2021, and 4Q2021 amounted to 0.25 million barrels per day.
The annual 2023 liquids production in Turkmenistan is also forecast to be at 0.27 million barrels a day, the report said.
