Petrochemical and farm products in high demand at Turkmen commodity and raw materials exchange

(Turkmenistan.ru) - 33 contracts exceeding US $ 17,183 mln were concluded at the Turkmen commodity and raw materials exchange last week.

Foreign businessmen's were particularly interested in purchasing petrochemical and farm products of Turkmenistan. In fact, with foreign currency UAE businessmen purchased light gas-oil produced at Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries and Turkish businessmen purchased mazut M-100 produced at Seyydi oil refinery, reports Trend.

The U.S., British Virgin Island, Turkish, Portuguese, Afghan, Russian and Seychelles businessmen purchased different sorts of lint-cotton, cattle skin, cotton yarn and men's valenki.

With national currency on deposits exceeding Manat 25, 949 bln Turkish, Cypriot, Azeri, Indian, Irish and the U.S. businessmen bought grey fabric. Russian and Cypriot businessmen also purchased cotton yarn. Indian and Turkish traders bought common cotton wool, while Swiss businessmen purchased knitwear. Belarus businessmen purchased Karakul wool, and Iranian and the U.S. businessmen purchased raw silk.

Turkmen businessmen purchased lint-cotton amounting to over Manat 65 million for domestic needs.
