( Irna ) - Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov here Saturday described his recent visit to Iran as "positive and constructive".
Meredov attended a day-long meeting of foreign ministers of the five Caspian Sea littoral states in Tehran on Wednesday.
Turkmenistan news agency on Saturday quoted Meredov as saying the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, addressing the Caspian Sea meeting, termed the recent visit by his Turkmen counterpart Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov to Tehran as "very fruitful" for the two states and the entire region.
Meredov, who was speaking in a cabinet ministers session, conveyed greetings of President Ahmadinejad for his Turkmen counterpart.
