State assets in JSCs increase by three percent in Uzbekistan

The volume of state assets in joint stock companies in Uzbekistan has increased by 3.1 percent since early 2012 to 5 trillion soum as of April, the State Central Depository (SCD) of Securities of the Republic said on Thursday.

SCD accounts state assets of 741 JSC at the beginning of April (at the beginning of 2012 - 739 companies with a total volume of state assets amounted to 4 trillion 917.36 billion soum).

The number of companies with the presence of the state increased by two, the size of state assets in the total expression increased by 152.14 billion soum.

SCD accounts the securities of 1306 JSC at the beginning of April compared to 1309 at the beginning of the year. The total volume of shares amounted to 7.182 million units (an increase by 10.3 percent) and exceeded 7 trillion 711.4 billion soum (increase by 1.8 percent) at the rate of nominal value.

The official exchange rate on April 19 is 1853.01 soum / $1.
