Uzbekistan reduces natural gas production by 0.2% in 2012

Uzbekistan has decreased natural gas production by 0.2 percent in 2012 compared to 2011 to 62.911 billion cubic meters, a source in government circles told Trend.

Liquid hydrocarbon production fell by 11.6 percent last year to 3.165 million tons. Oil production declined by 17.4 percent to 1.561 million tons while gas condensate production fell by 5.6 percent to 1.604 million tons.

Last year, the production of gasoline fell by 6.3 percent to 1.226 million tons, kerosene fell by 8.1 percent to 304.500 tons, diesel fuel, by 2.9 percent to 1.021 million tons, fuel oil, by 8.2 percent to 255.200 tons, bitumen, by 8.1 percent to 151.300 tons.

Liquefied gas production increased by 5.9% to 273.600 tons.

As reported in 2011, Uzbekistan reduced production of natural gas by 4.4 percent to 63.04 billion cubic meters, oil by 5.8 percent to 1.889 million tons and gas condensate, by 9.8 percent to 1.696 million tons.
