The trade between the US and Uzbekistan reached $300 million in January-August this year, while for the whole last year it amounted to $210.2 million, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said in a statement Sept. 12.
A meeting has been recently held in the Uzbek Foreign Ministry with Brian McFeeters, the US principal deputy assistant secretary for economic and business affairs.
The sides exchanged views on the prospects of trade, economic and investment ties between the two countries.
In addition, the meeting participants discussed preparations for the US Business Week in Uzbekistan.
