BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 9. The Balpantau and Tamdybulak gold deposits were discovered on the territory of the Tamdy district of Uzbekistan, Trend reports via Uzbek Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine.

The reserves of gold ore from new deposits will be transported to the hydrometallurgical plant No. 2 of the combine by rail with a length of 33 kilometers.

Ore reserves at the deposits amount to more than 40 million tons.

More than 3 million tons of gold-bearing ore per year will be mined at the deposits for almost 15 years. To carry out these works, it is planned to purchase 7 hydraulic excavators, 5 drilling rigs, 23 dump trucks, 2 diesel locomotives and many other mining equipment.

To date, one modern hydraulic excavator and 10 dump trucks with a carrying capacity of 90 tons have been delivered.
