Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. D.Khatinoglu / The Iranian Parliament confirmed the appointment of Gholamhossein Nozari as the new Oil Minister, and Aliakbar Mehrabian as the Industry Minister, on 14 November.
The Iranian Mehrnews agency reported that the Iranian President submitted the nominees of new ministers to the Parliament and they were appointed to their new posts by a majority vote.
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad discharged Kazim Vaziri Khamani from the Oil Minister position, and Alirza Tahmasib from the Industry Minister position on 12 April 2007.
