Two Iranian passenger jets made emergency landings today in Istanbul, Irib News reported.
An Iranian passenger jet flying from Tehran to Dusseldorf made an emergency landing in Istanbul after its engine caught fire, Iranian Consul General to Turkey Mahmood Heidari said.
The A-300 Airbus was carrying 300 passengers and 18 crew members. The plane landed at 10:02 a.m. local time.
Another Iranian passenger jet flying from Tehran to Stockholm made an emergency landing today in Istanbul for technical reasons.
According to preliminary reports, no one was injured.
