Iran’s president-elect Hassan Rohani has formed special committees to study the country’s current situation, the head of Rohani’s presidential campaign headquarters, Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh said on Saturday.

Iran's president-elect Hassan Rohani has formed special committees to study the country's current situation, the head of Rohani's presidential campaign headquarters, Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh said on Saturday.The formation of committees aims at helping the next administration to tackle Iran's current problems, the ISNA News Agency quoted Nematzadeh as saying.
Nematzadeh further said that he is a member of the special economic committee.

It was previously reported that the workgroup in charge of deciding the next administration's ministers has named Former Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zangeneh as the most likely candidate for the Oil Ministry.

If the president-elect Hassan Rohani approves the decision, Namdar Zangeneh will be officially introduced to the Iranian parliament (Majlis), an unnamed source told the PANA News Agency.
Bijan Namdar Zangeneh and Seyyed Kazem Vaziri Hamaneh were reportedly the two final candidates.

Namdar Zangeneh has previously served as the ministers of oil, energy and Construction Jihad.
He was appointed as a member of the Expediency Council by the country's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in 1996.
