Iran has offered Kyrgyzstan to reconstruct 38 nuclear power plants in that country, Mehr news agency reported.
Today Kyrgyz parliament members, who arrived in Tehran yesterday, met with Iranian energy minister Hamid Chitchian, to discuss the cooperation in energy sphere between the two countries.
Chitchian mentioned Iran's experience in building thermal power stations, and proposed Iran to build such stations in Kyrgyzstan.
Chitchian went on to add that Iran is ready to help Kyrgyzstan with producing, distributing and managing energy. The minister also said Iran could help Kyrgyzstan with training of specialists in this sphere.
It should be noted that Iranian and Kyrgyz officials yesterday also discussed development of bilateral cooperation in the sphere of exchange of experience and customs information.
