Iran and France will cooperate in the field of aviation training, Ali Abedzadeh, head of Iran's Civil Aviation Organization (CAO), said.

The French experts will cooperate with Iran's Civil Aviation Technology College, Abedzadeh said, Mehr news agency reported April 19.

He further said that Iran has made big achievements in the aviation industry, however the country needs to update its information and training system.

Following the removal of international sanction last January the Islamic Republic will be able to materialize the goal via powerful cooperation with other country's in the area of aviation training, he added.

Tehran pursues to sign an agreement with Paris on training of human resources, he said.

Abedzadeh's remarks came after his meeting with visiting French Transport Minister Alain Vidalies on April 18.

Vidalies earlier said that, Iran and France will cooperate in the aviation industry, training courses, infrastructure projects, flying schools, and small businesses.

Over the past decades and after the removal of crippling nuclear-related sanctions on Iran, the French Airbus was the first aircraft manufacturer to seal a major aviation deal with Iran.
