Iran’s non-oil exports hit $31 billion

The value of Iran’s exports of non-oil sector has surpassed $31 billion over the first nine months of the current fiscal year (starting March 20).

According to the latest statistics released by Iran’s Customs Administration, the country exported $31.593 billion worth of non-oil products in the mentioned period, Tasnim news agency reported.

The figure indicated 9.5 percent surge compared to the same period of the last Iranian calendar year.

According to the report, Iran has exported 91.3 million tons of goods and imported 24.8 million tons through its customs services over the mentioned period.

In the meantime, the value of Iran’s imports has also increased by 4.38 percent year on year reaching $31.5 billion.

Gas condensates constituted the largest part of Iran’s non-oil exports over the nine month period accounting for 16.22 percent of exports valued at $5.1 million.

Livestock corn worth $1.15 billion formed the largest part of Iran’s imports.
