The daily consumption of gasoline in Iran has increased by 1.2 million liters year on year, according to a recent report.
Since the beginning of the current fiscal year (March 21), Iranians have been consuming 75.8 million liters of gasoline on a daily basis, ISNA news agency reported April 29.
This is while in the same period last year, the consumption was 74.6 million liters per day.
Gasoline consumption in the first Iranian calendar month of Farvardin (March 21-April 20) stood at 78.7 million liters per day, showing 8 percent increase from the same month last year.
