Iran’s Ministry of Cooperative, Labor, and Social Welfare signed a memorandum of cooperation with the International Training Center, ILNA news agency reported June 17.
The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the 106th International Labor Organization summit.
According to Hassan Hefdahtan, international affairs director of the Iranian ministry, the agreement includes assessing the labor market in order to streamline the training system in Iran.
There are 200 governmental training centers in Iran that provide services for free, added by 12,000 private institutes for training workforce.
According to Hefdahtan, work security is another area to be addressed under the agreement.
