The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) for Dec. 4 offers the following products and goods:
Export floor: Offers 15,500 tons of bitumen and insulation as well as 31,700 tons of rice from Uruguay.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 86,185 tons of various polymers, chemicals, bitumen, vacuum bottom feedstock and lube cut oil.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 7,500 tons of hot rolled steel (HRS), cold rolled steel (CRS), galvanized and tin plates from Mobarakeh Steel Company, 28,000 tons of mixed basket from Isfahan Steel Company, and 100 tons of zinc ingot from Zanjan Zinc Purification Industrial Group.
Agriculture floor: Offers 143,000 day-old chickens, 174,000 tons of wheat, 100 tons of crude vegetable oil, 700 tons of sugar and 248 tons of corn.
Furthermore, the side market of IME will witness offering 100 tons of palm oil imported from Malaysia.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
