The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for Dec. 18:
Export floor: Offers 13,700 tons of bitumen, insulation, lube cut oil and granulated sulphur.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 23,840 tons of polymers, bitumen and paraffin wax.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 74,300 tons of hot rolled(HRS) and cold rolled steel(CRS) sheets from Mobarakeh Steel Company as well as 44,000 tons of HRS type B, 25,300 tons of HRS type C, 5,000 tons of CRS type B and 10 kilograms of gold bullion.
Agriculture floor: Offers 269,000 day-old chickens, 66,000 tons of wheat, 12,600 tons of wheat basket, 6,000 tons of sugar, 600 tons of sunflower oil, 600 tons of soybean meal and 825 tons of corn.
Furthermore, the side market of IME will also offer 600 tons of palm oil from Malaysia.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
