The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for Jan. 24:
Export floor: Offers 36,910 tons of bitumen, sulphur, lube cut oil and insulation.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 109,769 tons of bitumen, chemicals, polymers and vacuum bottom feed stock.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 1,980 tons of iron beam, 600 tons of aluminum billet, 1,000 tons of 1000lb aluminium ingot and 3,500 tons of cement type 1, as well as 10 kilograms of gold bullion.
Agriculture floor: Offers 6,000 tons of wheat, 170 tons of large lentils, 4,400 tons of sugar, 4,500 tons of crude vegetable oil, 1,000 tons of corn fodder, 15 tons of Iranian rice (Hashemi sort) and 6,912 tons of corn within the framework of supportive price plan.
Furthermore, the side market of IME offers 3,000 tons of palm oil, 20 tons of lactic butter from Germany and Belgium, as well as 246 tons of metal scraps, 1,000 tons of phosphate concentrate and 3 tons of empty barrels.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets. There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
