Over 10 schools provided with solar panels in Iran’s Kurdistan province

Fifteen secondary schools have been provided with solar panels in Iran’s Kurdistan province, Farid Mazhari, head of the Consumption Control Department of Iran's Kurdistan Electricity Distribution Company, said.

These panels can produce up to 75 kilometers per hour, Trend reports referring to IRNA.

Mazhari said that 5 kilowatt solar panels were installed and put into operation at 15 secondary schools.

Meawnhile, 250-300 kilowatt solar panels have been already installed in the Kurdistan province. A decision was made to build a 10-megawatt power station. A contract has ben already signed with the electricity distribution company for the construction of 1 and 2 megawatt small stations, he said.
