Environment activists as well as officials from the Iranian Department of Environment met Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Sunday.
The visit was made on the occasion of the Environmental Resources Week in Iran, Supreme leader's official website, Khamenei.ir reported on March 8.
The visit puts an end to recent disputes why the leader had been absent from public view for a couple of weeks.
There were even reports on March 5 that Ayatollah Khamenei had rushed to hospital in critical conditions since his prostate condition had reached its bad stage.
Senior Iranian politician Sadeq Kharazi on March 6 rejected the reports as "sheer lie".
