The deputy of mayor of Iran's Tehran city was arrested at the airport when leaving the country, Iran's ISNA news agency reported on Dec.2.
The information was also confirmed by a representative of the judicial system, but the representative didn't specify which deputy of the mayor was arrested.
Tehran mayor Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has over 20 deputies.
The arrested deputy mayor is accused of corruption and threatening the national security, according to ISNA. He was passing the IP-addresses and video frames from surveillance cameras in Tehran to Spain, according to the agency.
