Russia modernizes air component of its base in Armenia
Some plots of land and facilities are being transferred to Armenia in connection with the reorganization of the Russian military base in Armenia, Mediamax reported.
The acts on land and real estate were signed at a meeting of the Armenian-Russian intergovernmental commission in Yerevan on April 24-26.
Armenian First Deputy Defense Minister David Tonoyan received Russia's defense minister's assistant, Colonel-General Valeri Yevnevich.
The issues related to bilateral military cooperation, as well as the optimization and modernization of the air component of the Russian military base stationed in Armenia were discussed during the meeting.
