(Prime-News) - Gela Bezhuashvili, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, met with Maxime Verhagen, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, within frameworks of the 15th meeting of the OSCE Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs held in Madrid today.
Prime-News was told at the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Georgia that Bezhuashvili provided his Dutch counterpart with updated information on the recent development of events in Georgia and preparation process for early presidential elections scheduled for 5 January 2008.
The sides discussed the issues of cooperation between Georgia and the Netherlands. Discussions also focused on the process of Georgia's cooperation with the European union and integration into NATO.
The Ministers have also exchanged views over the ongoing developments in the world.
