Georgia, Tbilisi, 10 January/ corr. Trend N. Kirtskhalia/ The Tbilisi City Administration of Tbilisi sanctioned a mass demonstration of the united opposition in the city of Tbilisi. The decision was adopted in the meeting of the Tbilisi Administration.
The opposition made a request to Tbilisi Administration to allow them to hold a mass demonstration from January 13 to 18. Zviad Dzidziguri and Salome Zurabashvili have claimed responsibility. They have been warned by the City Administration that should there be violation of the law, the organizers will be held responsible. The City Administration emphasized that they are forbidden to come within 20 m of government officials and to make statements regarding the overthrow of constitutional power.
The opposition plans to draw approximately 100,000 supporters in the mass demonstration.
