According to the Georgian State Chancellery, he is one of the closest people in the Government to the US President George Bush. The success of the US economy is connected with him.
Condoleezza Rice, the US Secretary of State, was supposed to visit the inauguration, but she failed to change her program because of the Middle East tour, the Georgian State Chancellery reported.
The US President has invited Saakashvili to visit the United States, after the inauguration.
