Parliamentary capital of Georgia, the Kutaisi city was flooded as a result of heavy rain.
Central streets and avenues, shops and bars were flooded, Emergency Situations Department of Georgian Interior Ministry said on Friday.
Rescuers and fire engines, pumping water out of buildings, worked all the night.
No victims or injured are reported.
According to the report, property of citizens and infrastructure was severely damaged.
Now the damage is calculated.
