The Central Election Commission has opened an additional five polling stations outside of Georgia.

The Central Election Commission has opened an additional five polling stations outside of Georgia.

According to the CEC, stations have been opened in the cities of Ottawa (Canada), Dublin (Ireland), Barcelona (Spain), Budapest (Hungary) and Lisbon (Portugal).

These stations were opened on September 11 on the basis of data from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, the election administration noted.

According to the Foreign Ministry, the number of voters eligible to vote amounted to 42 613 people.

Some 42 polling stations were opened on September 1.
