A Small and Medium Business Chamber has been established under the Georgian Chamber of Commerce. Director of the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises Kakha Kokhreidze will head the new organiation.
Anyone can join the chamber, he said at a presentation on Monday while encouraging entrepreneurs to actively cooperate with the Chamber of Commerce.
"The Small and Medium Business Chamber is part of the Chamber of Commerce," he said. "It will work in several spheres, namely, improving business culture for more people to become entrepreneurs. Many fellow citizens are unemployed and are looking for work. We want to encourage them. The issue of business incubators, which will work on a variety of topics, will be one of major concern. We want to finalize the mentor program. These people will be placed in the regions and will consult small and medium entrepreneurs to help them to properly set goals, improve financial management and so on."
He said that arbitration and litigation will be the main areas of concern.
